AMUSEMENT RIDES MANUFACTURERS

The ride is made up of a 13.5 m (44’4”) round steel base frame fixed to concrete foundations, with an inclination of 7° and covered with chequered aluminum plate, which rotates both clockwise and counter-clockwise. 4 satellites are mounted on it, each one holding 4 cars. The satellites can only rotate in the opposite direction with reference to the platform, whereas the cars can rotate freely. These rotations are sudden and unpredictable as they are the result of a number of variables such as platform and satellite speed and acceleration, position and inclination of each car in relation with platform and satellites as well as passengers’ weights.

Upon request, the 4 satellites can be installed on 4 arms, which will be hydraulically elevated two by two; cars will then rotate about 3 meters above the platform surface. Both the direction and the rotation speed of platform and satellites can be either modified or inverted at any time.

Movements:

• Rotation of the platform (clockwise and counter-clockwise). Speed: from 0 to 12 rpm
• 360° rotation of the satellites (clockwise and counter-clockwise). Speed: from 0 to 24 rpm
• 360° rotation of the cars (clockwise and counter-clockwise). Free spinning
• arms elevation to 20° in approx. 15 seconds (option)
