Shang Shun World amusement park in the Miaoli area of Taiwan, owned by the Shang Shun Development Company Co, this is one of the most popular family rides at the park.

We built it in partnership with Brogent, a firm with whom we have a close working relationship and enjoy a long-term friendship. The attraction comprises our Scary Drop tower measuring around 20m high, along which two 8-seater units slide. The tower can be fixed to a steel basement or concrete foundations.

The attraction can operate as a classic drop tower with fast up & down movements and tilting of the cars – deceleration of up to 2.5G and ascent speed of 2 m/s – or in combination with a large flat screen placed in front of the riders. In this case, by wearing 3D glasses, the riders enjoy a unique experience: the tower synchronizes its movements with the images on the screen, thus projecting riders into the action they are watching. Reality and fiction combine to catapult them into a new dimension of entertainment.

The up & down movements of the cars are guaranteed by hydraulic cylinders by means of steel ropes. The max deceleration is stopped by 2 shock absorbers.
